Skyaid Video for late 2000 updated 04/01/02
Working title:
How Skyaid could save your life
A 60 second
video
Video to show on TV news - to an estimated
10+ million viewers, since August TV interview was shown 52 times
Also intend to have it available later as a streaming video at http://www.Skyaid.org
Expect to use normal video (analog or digital) onto which we
photo-composite a model of the Skycar - with shadows, wind, etc.
Target release for this video is October
- but may be delayed or maybe not mention "Skycar'
if
Moller International must have a press quiet period
1 - Two scenes:
A) A person gets a Sudden Cardiac Arrest - and is not
observed
B) A person falls down and pushes panic button on
LifeWatch
2 - LifeWatch calls for aid for both people
3 - Decision to send Skyaid in case A) since 9-1-1 can not get to person in
less than 5 minutes
4 - Dispatch of Skyaid - which was already in the air
5 - Skyaid flys to the victim of Sudden Cardiac Arrest
6 - Both LifeWatches display expected time till arrival
A) 2 minutes till Skyaid arrives at victim of
sudden cardiac arrest
B) 8 minutes till 9-1-1 arrives at person who
fell
7 - Skyaid lands near house
8 - Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/ Pilot
appears to run from Skycar to victim's side
probably not need to show any interaction of the EMT with the Skycar
8 - EMT
applies of Automatic External Defibrillator
9 - Recovery from Sudden Cardiac Arrest
10 - Arrival of conventional 9-1-1 medical transport to
A) and B)
11 - Skyaid and LifeWatch increases chance of surviving Cardiac Arrest by 10X
(how to show this?)

video may be created or directed by LifeLine Video - Sheri Joyce in Burien

Misc
Notes:
Opening - show the survivor living a long and happy
life?
Create excitement to motivate the audience
Indoor if possible - avoid delays of rain, external noise, etc.
Could have a longer version for the web
- or more narration details
- with introduction to the problem, pie charts, etc.
2nd video could deal with trees and wires in the way
Show benefit to the users:
Gift which audience can buy Now for
elderly parent,
-
perhaps show that they had recently gotten LifeWatch as a gift
- if time is money, what is a year worth to you?
On average extend a person's life by 6 years if they can
survive a sudden cardiac arrest
Should be able to decrease disability while recovering from
stroke by at least a year
- fast
delivery to stroke center which can reverse the damage
- cool down body by
1degree while flying to the stroke center - which
cuts mortality by 50%
Concurrent images on the screen? A & B
Can there be a voice-only version for the radio?
Take extra scenes for future video
* where person is flown
back to a critical care center,
* fire fighting
Show but do not explain the LifeWatch locator
- which the EMT person uses to "hear' the beeping LifeWatch from 500 feet
away, even thru doors
LifeWatch could display "Cardiac Arrest"
How to get audience attention in 5 seconds
- perhaps graphically show how small
the vehicle accident rate is compared to sudden cardiac arrest rate
- perhaps show the skycar
hovering
How can the video show the price per life or the price monthly?
Show a cell-phone on a table - out of reach or otherwise unavailable
Target audience: consumer, give a gift (elderly, spouse), key-man,
philanthropist, air-taxi?
